Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will provide technology and project management support to the Information Systems Group (ISG) and business units. This role serves as a central coordination point for all technology-related activities within assigned projects, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, ISG teams, and external vendors.
The role is responsible for end-to-end project management across the full project lifecycle—from initiation through stabilization—while ensuring compliance with bank policies, project governance standards, and delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Management

Provide technology and project management support to ISG and business groups by attending meetings and relevant management forums.

Act as a central point of information for all technology-related project activities.

Promote collaboration and alignment between banking divisions impacted by the project.
2. Project Management (End-to-End)

Provide guidance and technology support to ISG resources assigned to the project.

Manage the full project lifecycle, including:

Initiation

Vendor Selection

Discovery / Solutioning

Design

Build

Test

Deploy

Stabilization

Develop and maintain the project schedule, including cost estimates, and cascade updates to all stakeholders.

Identify, manage, and monitor project risks and issues.

Control and manage scope changes to prevent scope creep.

Prepare and maintain project management reports.

Manage financial aspects of the project, including budget, expenses, and manpower costs from estimation through project closure.

Clearly communicate project objectives and define roles and responsibilities of all project team members.

Establish and provide a clear escalation framework across ISG, business teams, and vendors.

Ensure project compliance with applicable bank policies and governance standards.

Align all project activities with approved project management standards and methodologies.
3. Project Monitoring & Quality Assurance

Monitor project performance against defined metrics.

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring, high-impact issues, unmet metrics, and identified defects.

Ensure readiness for transition by confirming that all training materials, project documents, manuals, and guidelines are properly handed over to the application support group during the stabilization phase.

Deliver project outputs in accordance with the defined RACI under the BAGO / Hybrid process.
4. Vendor Management

Collaborate with the Enterprise Vendor Management team in vendor contract negotiations.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and delivery expectations.
Required Experience & Background
-
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in banking or financial services environments.

Strong background managing technology projects within structured governance frameworks.

Demonstrated experience handling multi-stakeholder environments, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors.

Solid understanding of end-to-end project delivery, risk management, and financial tracking.
